All of our Chi Ka Go's have been wonderful but last month's event was one of our favorites yet! We want to thank all of you who participated in the magic. Special thanks to Rebecca Simmons and Yoga Now for leading our opening meditation. Two truly brilliant and passionate dance performances from Lee Na-Moo and Nancy Grabowski (and great musical accompaniment from Nancy's partner Ryan). Sensei of Soul Dre, our Feature Poet, whose work was not only inspiring and thought-provoking, but who set the scene for a wonderful poet's sharing circle which inspired people to create on the spot. Thanks for our healers and readers Jason Cunningham, Gustavo de la Torre and Joe who shared their beautiful energies.
Thanks to our amazing live painters Lucy Tyksinski and Ellie Sorokin. Finally DJ Romances smooth beats and of course the always beautiful and uplifting Carla Starla. What a great event!
We look forward to sharing another experience with you all on Sunday, September 12th with another great lineup.

Heartfelt thanks to all of you who attended the last CHI KA GO. Another amazing evening! Our dreamspace afterward was supercharged from the energy. Roman got us off to such a good start, balanced and energized from the Tai Chi exercises. Sharyl's stories of her experience and background with Siria Family opened minds, inner eyes and hearts, and her toning sent chills up and down our spines. Our Feature Poet, Melvin Lyons, shared his Hip Hop tradition, showing how the voices of Spirit respond to our own situations and our own cultural story in ways that are nevertheless universal and both touch and stretch the heart. At least 8 other poets also shared their work, and, as usual, healers, readers, DJ's and live artists - as well as a special presentation on the Dogon of Africa - enriched our lives and set our bodies and our spirits moving.

Thank you to Amy Beth for graciously giving us this amazing space with such an amazing atmosphere, thank you to the initial and current organizers, and then everyone else who makes it happen. It is truly something I can look forward to every month. The day of the last Chi Ka Go, I was having a horrible day at work and was just having a really bad day. But I knew that I would attend Chi! Ka! Go! that night and feel instantly healed by everything. And I did, and then some! It's almost impossible to not feel joyous when you're in that environment "
