Adventure in Chi-Town 4

August 4-10, 2008

You lift me, I'll lift you, and we'll ascend together.

It is time to drop any borders we build between one another and unite for a week of solidarity through celebration. Adventure in Chi-Town will be a collaboration of artistic expression, which will take place across our beautiful city. We will be bridging communities through interactive productions and innovative performance arts.

The week-long festivities took place at various locations throughout the city and showcased an array of Chicago's treasures. From daytime workshops to evening dance parties there was something for everyone to be a part of while highlighting local visionaries. Thank you to everyone who joined helped bring together these magical communities in Chicago.

:Rites of Passage:

The City of Chicago is in need of a renaissance of sorts. Our diverse city is strong, bold and creative, yet is segregated along the lines of egos into numerous categories. It’s time to drop these borders and unite.

The first full week in August from the 4th-10th, we hosted a special Adventure in Chi-Town uniting and spreading joy throughout the city while unlocking hidden treasures within.

“The wisest mind has something yet to learn.” George Santayana

---Join us on this Adventure in Chi-Town---
In solidarity with the promoters, musicians and artists in the surrounding area.

We all can contribute in this new age so go spread the news far and wide.
Chicago has something to say and we are one voice shouting it loud.

If you would like to volunteer for upcoming adventures, email your contact information and what you would like to help with to Adventure@BrilliantlyMad.com. We are always looking for healers, artists, musicians, performers and visionaries to unite with.

Share your creativity and exchange energy with those around you.
This event is just a stepping stone and we hope you rise up and collaborate on other platforms to vibrate the whole city.

-Creative expression
-Sustainable living
-Community building

BrilliantlyMad's Mission
We are a grassroots movement building sustainable communities through the expansion of self-awareness and wisdom.

We are dedicated to raising social consciousness through art, music and literature along with promoting a creative lifestyle.

BrilliantlyMad is a collective of thinkers, writers, artists, musicians, pranksters, clowns, and other talented souls. By chance, we followed the beats of the underground music scenes to various venues but it was fate that brought us together so we could come out and play.

Our interests lie amongst the artistic, musical, political, and spiritual realms of the world and that is what you will find within our pages. Our goals are to promote a philosophy built on love and our oneness with the universe and to promote positive lifestyle changes through education and awareness. We want to enhance people's life experiences and be a beacon of light in a world with much darkness. Since we want to help change our world for the better, we have carved out a little corner where we can build a voice by sharing ideas and expressing our minds. We want to perpetuate the good grooves that we have been blessed with so please join us and share in our brilliance, share in our madness.

BrilliantlyMad
...aren't we all?
